Custody Ledger Preparation

Who this is for

Family offices, corporate treasuries, and DAO governance committees that hold digital assets in hardware wallets, paper wallets, or air-gapped signing stations. If your custody records currently live in scattered spreadsheets and one person’s encrypted notes, this engagement produces a single authoritative ledger.

What is included

  • Inventory intake interview with your treasury lead (90 minutes, remote or on-site)
  • Hardware wallet and seed storage location mapping
  • Multisig signer role matrix with contact escalation paths
  • Recovery procedure draft reviewed against your existing continuity plan
  • Quarterly update template for new wallets or signer changes
  • One revision round after board review

What is excluded

  • Private key generation, transfer, or custody holding
  • Legal opinion on regulatory classification
  • Tax reporting or accounting journal entries
  • Ongoing monitoring of wallet balances on-chain

Process

  1. Scope call — We review your wallet count, signer structure, and existing documentation.
  2. Inventory submission — You provide device serial numbers, storage locations, and signer names through our secure intake form. No seed phrases or private keys are requested.
  3. Draft ledger — Our team produces the custody ledger with cross-referenced appendices.
  4. Review session — A 60-minute walkthrough with your treasury team to verify accuracy.
  5. Final delivery — Bound document shipped to your registered address; digital archive delivered via encrypted transfer.

Gather your current hardware wallet inventory list, any existing custody policies, and the names of all authorized signers before the scope call. If you use a multisig arrangement, have the threshold and participant roles documented.
