Testimonials
Our external auditor asked for a custody map of fourteen Ledger devices. Toolkit Elm Field delivered a ledger that matched our actual storage arrangement — including the two devices we had forgotten were still active. The process required more internal coordination than we expected, but the result was worth the effort.— S.M. Choi, CFO, Busan shipping conglomerate treasury
They attended our seed ceremony in Gangnam and produced attestation forms our legal counsel accepted without revision. I appreciated that they never asked to see the seed itself.— R. Tanaka, Operations Director, Tokyo-based fund with Seoul office
The annual review caught that two signers on our matrix had changed roles six months earlier without updating the ledger. Honest work, though the report formatting could be more compact for board packets.— K.W. Lee, Governance Lead, DAO treasury committee
We engaged them after a signatory departure left us with incomplete records. Reconstruction took longer than the quoted timeline because our own inventory was messier than we admitted upfront.— J.H. Kim, Family office principal, Seoul
Extended account: Multisig reconstruction
A Seoul-based technology holding company approached us in early 2025 after their CTO — the sole keeper of custody documentation — resigned without a handover. The treasury held assets across a 3-of-5 multisig arrangement with signers in Seoul, Singapore, and Vancouver.
Challenge: No current signer matrix, conflicting notes about which hardware devices were active, and an upcoming board audit in six weeks.
Approach: We conducted separate interviews with each of the five signers, cross-referenced device serial numbers against purchase records, and mapped storage locations through a structured questionnaire. Two devices were confirmed decommissioned; one active wallet had no documented recovery contact.
Outcome: A complete custody ledger delivered in eleven business days. The board audit proceeded without custody documentation findings. The client now schedules annual reviews and ceremony documentation for every new wallet.
